The Capri features incredible new, 100% recyclable, advanced Cortec™ Revolution Pocket springs, as well as the pressure-relieving HD 4000 micro springs. This combination of supportive springs together with a smaller, more subtle spring results in the perfect blend of comfort and support. Each spring will not only react independently from one another, but they each have a precise role to play in providing excellent support and luxurious comfort.
As a spring is compressed under body weight, the spring will get slightly firmer and more supportive. Great support, exactly where needed. Furthermore; because these springs are sat within their own fabric 'pocket', they will not be disrupted by the movement of surrounding springs.
The Capri 9000, like all Harrison Spinks' mattresses, contains natural fibre fillings. In the Capri 9000, Harrisons have used layers of blended wool and viscose, as well as layers of their home grown hemp and cooling cotton. Harrisons have a very local source of wool - their own farm. No other bed-maker can boast such a sustainable and high quality source of wool for their mattresses, and so it comes as no surprise that Harrisons has won awards around the world.
Two rows of hand side stitching support the edges of the Capri, to help you use the largest surface area possible and help eliminate the roll-off sensation when you get close to the edge of the mattress. The cover is woven in-house at Harrisons and is FR (fire retardant) chemical-free.
The Capri is a seasonal turn mattress. This means that Harrisons have designed this mattress with both sides to have a specific purpose. One side is designed for spring/summer usage, with cooling cotton layers, whereas the other is a warming side for use in autumn/winter. It is recommended that the mattress is turned and rotated, alternative between the two, once per season, but we also recommend this is done every other week for the first couple of months after delivery to ensure even settlement.
Our dedicated delivery specialists operate mainly within our North Yorkshire area and not only deliver directly to the door of the lovely people of our region but also make sure your order is in the room it needs to be in.
For as little as £20 you can get your bed delivered to your home or even choose to CLICK & COLLECT in store for FREE.
We understand that a busy lifestyle often means our customers can't always wait in all day for a delivery to arrive. We know you've got more important things to do. So we always aim to give you plenty of notice and arrange a time that is convenient, usually a 2-3 hour time slot between 10am - 5pm on a Monday - Friday.
We can even try and accommodate an early morning delivery before you go to work. And on request, we can give you a call to let you know we're on our way. It's fair to say our delivery team are the unsung hero's and always strive to make your delivery experience run as smoothly as can be and may even pre-empt any issues before they arise.
To make sure we offer the very best service we like to use our own delivery team. Our in-house delivery specialists have years of experience and at present we deliver within 50 miles of each of our stores. This is to ensure we offer the best experience to our customers. We also care about our carbon footprint and do our utmost to be as efficient and eco-friendly where possible.
Our aim is to be completely transparent. Free delivery generally means the cost of delivery is quite often bulked into the price somewhere. We could offer free delivery, but we want to be honest and not hike up our our prices.
LOCAL DELIVERY starts from £20.
FREE - CLICK & COLLECT - Collection from one of our stores can also be arranged.
The cost of delivery is worked out by your delivery postcode and not by item. Your delivery charge will be calculated at check out.
We mainly deliver in our local North Yorkshire and surrounding region, but if you do happen to live a bit further afield, don't hesitate to contact us. We're only at the end of a phone and you never know, we may be able to help you.
Most of our products are made to order. However we do like to keep some items in stock for your convenience. For in stock items we aim to deliver in 5-7 days, but if you require super fast delivery, just give us a call and we can see if we can help.
We have a wide range of beds and mattresses in varying sizes, not to mention colours, fabrics and storage options, so we couldn't possibly hold everything in stock. Depending on supplier, delivery can take anytime from 1-2 weeks up to 6-8 weeks. Approximate lead times are quoted for all items. Please check first with us if you require an item for a certain date and we can guide you on the most suitable product.
If items show in stock, please call us first before you set off to collect an item, as we have storage and warehouses at each of our store locations. We don't want you to make a wasted journey. We can also get your order ready prior to your arrival - saves you hanging around.
We know that not everyone has the best access to their property. That's why we only use Mercedes Sprinter vehicles to deliver you your order, big enough to transport your new bed and small enough to navigate Yorkshire's unforgiving stone walls and tight rural roads. To help determine if our delivery team will be able to access your home with ease, here are our delivery vehicles dimensions.
