The Elba 11000 features the incredible 100% recyclable, advanced Cortec™ Revolution Pocket springs, as well as dual layers of the pressure-relieving HD 2500 micro springs. These springs work in perfect harmony to provide a luxurious feel as well as excellent support. With other mattresses on the market, there is a tendency to have to have a firmer feel if you want good support. Not so with Harrisons, as their springs are designed to get progressively more supportive as more weight is applied. This wonderful ability means you can have the firmness level you want and still benefit from posture enhancing support, vital to a rejuvenating night's sleep.
The Elba 11000, like all Harrison Spinks' mattresses contains natural fibre fillings. In this case, the British bed-maker has used a combination of their famous natural wool fillings, a Wool and Viscose Blend, a Wool and Flax blend, and an Egyptian Cotton and Flax Blend. Harrison Spinks are the only bed maker that has their own farm and so they're able to use their own sheep's wool for their fillings. This is about as locally sourced as can be, and so its no wonder that Harrisons have won plaudits the world over for their sustainable approach. Wool is the perfect fibre to be used in bedding. Not only does it remain warm in the winter and cool in the summer, but it is naturally breathable and anti-dustmite.
For added support along the edges of the Elba, this mattress includes three rows of Hand Side Stitching, to help you use the largest surface area possible and help eliminate the roll-off sensation when you near the edge of the mattress. The cover of the Elba 11000 is woven in house at Harrisons and is FR chemical-free. This luxuriously soft and silky smooth fabric is as tactile as it is durable, and adds a final flourish of luxury to the mattress.
The Elba is a seasonal turn mattress. This means that Harrisons have designed this mattress with both sides to have a specific purpose. One side is designed for spring/summer usage, with cooling cotton layers, whereas the other is a warming side for use in autumn/winter. We recommend turning and / or rotating the mattress once per season, although we also suggest doing this more often after delivery, allowing the surface to settle evenly.

We also care about our carbon footprint and do our utmost to be as efficient and eco-friendly where possible.

The cost of delivery is worked out by your delivery postcode and not by item. Your delivery charge will be calculated at check out.

Most of our products are made to order. However we do like to keep some items in stock for your convenience. For in stock items we aim to deliver in 5-7 days, but if you require super fast delivery, just give us a call and we can see if we can help.
We have a wide range of beds and mattresses in varying sizes, not to mention colours, fabrics and storage options, so we couldn't possibly hold everything in stock. Depending on supplier, delivery can take anytime from 1-2 weeks up to 6-8 weeks. Approximate lead times are quoted for all items. Please check first with us if you require an item for a certain date and we can guide you on the most suitable product.
If items show in stock, please call us first before you set off to collect an item, as we have storage and warehouses at each of our store locations. We don't want you to make a wasted journey. We can also get your order ready prior to your arrival - saves you hanging around.
We know that not everyone has the best access to their property. That's why we only use Mercedes Sprinter vehicles to deliver you your order, big enough to transport your new bed and small enough to navigate Yorkshire's unforgiving stone walls and tight rural roads. To help determine if our delivery team will be able to access your home with ease, here are our delivery vehicles dimensions.
